Phronsie Irene Simpkins, 75, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born to the late Virgil and Goldie Locey on July 25, 1939. She was preceded in death by one grandson, George. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lloyd Simpkins, of Proctorville, Ohio; three sons, David Lee Simpkins of Ona, WV, Lloyd Ray Simpkins of Scottown, OH and Jimmie Dale Simpkins of Amelia, VA; two daughters, Robin Annette Blevins of Jackson, OH and Karen Cardoso of Proctorville, OH; two sisters, Odra Baker of Scottown, OH and Sally Spence of Willow Wood, OH; one brother, Chester Locey of Proctorville, OH; seven grandchildren, David, Missy, and Irene Simpkins, Lloyd Simpkins, Savannah Chambers, Heather Simpkins and Chrissy Simpkins; six great grandchildren, Austin, Maddie, Dakota, Kaytlyn, Colten, Brayden; and several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held Friday, May 29, 2015. Phronsie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to all. Hall Funeral Home of Proctorville, OH will be in charge of arrangements.
