Grace P. Buffington Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1912 - 2015 Funeral services for Grace P. Buffington, 103, of Lumberton will be 11:00 am Friday, June 12, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Kings Cemetery in Hartburg, Newton County Texas. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Buffington passed away at Village Creek Rehab and Nursing Center in Lumberton on Wednesday June 10, 2015. She was born January 27, 1912 in Groesbeck Texas and had lived in Lumberton for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents Henry Thomas and Della Grace McWorter Padgett; husband Gaston Albon Buffington; sons Charles Buffington, Albon Buffington, and David Buffington; one grandchild; eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include son Mike Buffington and wife Liz of Lumberton; daughter-in-law Jackie Buffington of Burleson, TX; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Mike & Family, So terribly sorry for the loss of your mom. I had no idea that she was a 100+ & in bad health. My thoughts & prayers for strength in the days ahead.
