1959 - 2015
Richard Earl Griffith known as “Rick” of Beaumont passed away at his residence after a lengthy illness June 14, 2015. Rick was born July 28, 1959.
Preceded in death by his mother Jackie Delaune Griffith; sister Pamela Griffith and brother Sammy Griffith Jr.
He is survived by his father and stepmother Sam and Sandra Griffith; sister Phyllis Griffith; nephew Shayne Griffith, and many family members and friends.
In his earlier years, Rick worked for Brown and Root, at the time of his death he was working for Ratliff Industries in Lumberton who were very special to him.
A Celebration of Rick’s life will be held at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee on Saturday June 20, 2015 at 3 pm. In closing Rick we all Love you, family and friends.

Dearest Sammie and Tilly,
My heart explodes with memories of babysitting the 4 kids and wonderful visits with your family. I grieve with you on the losses.
Ricky was just the sweetest little boy ever. Bubba and Rusty had great times playing together. Pam was so smart and caring. Phillis was the prettiest and kindest little girl. When we all meet again in heaven, hugs and kisses and great memories will prevail. May the Holy Spirit bring you comfort until we all meet again.

Phyllis: Very sorry to hear of Rick's passing. We were good friends in school. I am sorry that I didn't get to connect more after we got older. I did manage to run into him occasionally and we always had great visits.
