Opal Mae Murdock, 84, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Monday June 15, 2015 at Rivers Bend Health Care, South Point, Ohio. She was born August 12, 1930 in Lawrence County, Ohio to the late Newton and Olive Mann Midkiff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Les Murdock; two sisters Gertrude Short and Maxine White; and great grandson Cody Webber. She is survived by one son Bobby Leland (Brenda Gail) Farris of Scottown, Ohio; two grandsons Bobby Joe Farris and Jeff Farris both of Proctorville; one step granddaughter Tammy Webber of Proctorville; one sister Christine Short of Crown City, Ohio; five great grandchildren Whitney, Tiffany, Trevor, Abigail, and Zoey; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday June 18, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Meredith Turley. Burial will follow in Forgey Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday June 18, 2015 at the funeral home.
