Mildred Beatrice Adkins Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1934 - 2015 Mildred Beatrice Adkins, 81, of Scottown, Ohio passed away Friday June 19, 2015 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY. She was born February 12, 1934 in Lawrence County, Ohio to the late John and Lucille Wilks Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Prichard Adkins, Sr. and 11 siblings. She is survived by five children: Carl Prichard Jr. (Bethany) Adkins of Huntington, WV, Mildred (Rick) Watson of Scottown, Ohio, Ida (Carl) Callicoat of Scottown, Ohio, Robert Adkins of Charlotte, NC, and Anna Varney of Ona, WV; six grandchildren Richard Dustin Adkins, Lena Shea Adkins, Leah Megan Adkins, Faithanna Hope Varney, Carl R. Callicoat, Jr., and Jason Scott Watson; three great grandchildren Mason Adkins, Harley Adkins, and Allison Ann Callicoat; three sisters Judy, Josephine, and Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Highway Baptist Chapel Aid, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday June 24, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Aid Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday June 23, 2015 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
