Funeral services for Robert Dale Neely, 66, of Vidor will be 2:00 pm Friday, June 26, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Neely passed away June 23, 2015 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
A native of Kirbyville, he was a resident of Vidor for 25 years. Robert was a retired pipefitter out of Local 195.
Mr. Neely is preceded in death by his parents, E. O. and Mollie Nolan Neely; brother Vernon Neely; half-brothers Eugene Neely, Ellis Neely and Esclovan Neely; sister Lowjuan Nelson; and brothers-in-law Charles ‘Terry’ Tucker, Jack Nelson and Gerald Jones.
Survivors include daughter Rodona Neely of Nederland; brothers Sammy Neely and wife Henri of Vidor, Norman Neely and wife Carol of Lumberton and George Neely and wife Beth of Hemphill; half-brother Eddie Neely of Beaumont; sisters Carolyn Tucker of Lumberton, Delores Atkinson and husband Carter of Fairmont, Debra McKinley and husband Bradley of Lumberton, and Verna ‘Tutti’ Price and husband Charles ‘Bimbo’ of Lumberton; half-sister Nelda Jean Thompson of Nederland and one granddaughter Maddie Neely and numerous nieces and nephews.
