1969 - 2015
On June 22, 2015, Richard “RICH” Neace Jr . left this world way too soon. Rich was loved by all. He never met a stranger because of the infectious smile he always had and made the world his friend. He spent 23 loving and devoted years with his soulmate PEGGY and their Furr Babies. As the constant jokester, you never knew what he was going to do next, which made life around him so enjoyable. The ULTIMATE Marshall University, Cincinnati Reds, and all around sports FAN (a family tradition), there was no statistic Rich did not know. The proud uncle of four nephews and a niece; Jake, Cameron, Collin, Luke, and Kirstyn; pool football, basketball, and even texting for hours, was only a “Hey Uncle Rich” away. Being the BIG brother to Brent, Tyler, and brother-in-law Jeremy Rowe, Rich would be the go between for all things mom and dad didn’t know, and would lend a helping hand for ANYONE that needed it. He was looking forward to becoming an uncle again and spoiling baby Carly Paige Rowe. Rich was the eldest son of Dick and Brenda Neace, the number one grandchild of Virginia Dare Bailey, and the best son-in-law in the world to Trudy Rowe. Junior Rowe was very proud to be his father-in-law, and very thankful and blessed with how he took care of his little girl. Most people do not know that Rich worked part-time for Santa Claus which may explain his appetite for Food. The union brotherhood knew this all too well, along with the pranks, which is why he will always be known as WOW or SLINGBLADE. Twenty plus years in the Ferguson Clan attending many family dinners and other celebrations, he finally reached Roger Burge status (hee hee). His willingness to tackle any honey do list made him the best house husband Latulle Avenue even knew. He loved all of his Furr Babies, but there was a special place in his heart for his beloved dog of 14 years DINO. Even though Rich has left us TOO soon, he will be well taken care of as his Grandpa Harrison Lester Bailey and Grandparents Chester and Margaret Neace welcome him home. Please come celebrate with us this wonderful man’s exceptional and often comedic life on Saturday June 27, 2015 “wearing your Marshall or Reds gear”, starting with visitation from 4 to 6p.m. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with service to follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Gordon Simpson officiating. The celebration will continue with food, drink, and a balloon release at sunset at the parsonage/fellowship hall next to Rose of Sharon church on 775. In lieu of flowers, Rich would have wanted you to; donate to or participate in the Relay For Life, Thank a veteran for their service, adopt or save a stray or unwanted animal, take the time to go to a ballgame with your family and/or friends, but most importantly, enjoy every moment of each day because life is TOO short. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Dear Neace Family,
I just got word of Rich's passing and wanted to say I am very sorry for your loss. I remember growing up with his brothers and he always had a kind word for people, he was always willing to help others, and he was just a genuinely great human being whose time with us here was way too short. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Patrick
