Zechariah Charles Dixon, 28, of Huntington went to be with the Lord on
Wednesday June 24, 2015. Zech attended Spring Valley High School, Spartan College
of Aeronautics and Technology, and worked as a welding inspector. Zechariah
enjoyed many sports and activities, was an avid Steelers fan, and a member of Spring
Valley Presbyterian Church. He was a loving person, a devoted family member and
friend, and everyone he met was impacted by his kind nature and adventurous spirit. He
was loved by many and will be missed by all. Zech was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ronald Martin and Charles Dixon of Huntington; father, Darrell Dixon of Huntington. He also leaves behind a son, Benjamin Alexander “Alex” Dixon, unborn daughter Regan Conner Dixon, the love of his
life and fiancee Samantha Styer of Hinton WV and her children Christianna, Zayleigh
and Braxton whom he loved and thought of as his own. He is also survived by
grandmothers, Dottie Trimboli and Betty Dixon of Huntington; grandfather, Garland
Workman of Huntington; his mother, Beverly Martin Wingo and stepfather, Cecil Wingo Jr.of Hobart IN.; sisters, Mari Martin Czerekaviczius of Huntington Ashley Martin and Amanda WIngo of Hobart IN; brothers, Daniel Carlson (Chesapeake VA), and Tony Workman of Huntington; and stepbrother Stan Wingo of Raleigh NC.; uncle, Ronald Martin (Kathy) of Huntington; aunts, Katherine Martin of South Charleston and Dianna Bolling of Huntington; cousins, Jarod and Logan Martin of Huntington, Paul and Shawn Martin of South Charleston, Misty Riddle of Scott Depot and Dustin Noble of Huntington;
nieces, Kylie Martin of Hobart, IN and Dani Carlson of Chesapeake, VA.; nephews Griffin Howard of Hobart IN, Parker and Corey Carlson of Chesapeake, VA. There are many more beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will mourn Zech’s passing. To his family and friends he was a shoulder to lean on, a friend to talk to, someone that was there when needed and always with a smile. Zech was an amazing singer and heaven has gained a special angel for its choir. A celebration of life service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, 625 County Road 775, Proctorville Ohio with Rev. Jeff Garrett officiating.
