Yvonne Hogsett, 99, of Proctorville, formerly of Barboursville, went home to be with her Savior July 10, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 am Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Gordon Rutherford. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park. She was born March 4, 1916 in Lesage, a daughter of the late Wells A. and Artie Roe McFann. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Hogsett and one son, Gary R. Hogsett and several sisters, Cheryl Winters, Louella Blankenship and Pauline McFann; brothers, Riggs McFann, Clinton McFann, and Don McFann. She was a member of the Greenbottom Baptist Church, a retired cook for the Cabell County Board of Education. She loved cooking and having her family around as much as possible. She never met a stranger and welcomed so many into her home. She was a long time member of the Barboursville Senior Center. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Sunny Hogsett, of Proctorville, with whom she lived since 2012, and Bill R. and Theresa Hogsett of Belmont, WV; special friends David and Sharon Edmunds; daughter-in-law, Sherri Hogsett of Huntington; special caregivers, Sandy Collins and Heather Copley; five grandchildren, Jeff Hogsett, Tonya (Hogsett) Daniels and her husband, Chris, Tracy Hogsett, Mark Hogsett, and Matthew Hogsett; seven great-grandchildren, Heather Hogsett, Cody Hogsett, Mark A. Hogsett, Cassie Hogsett, McKenzie Hogsett, Becca Daniels, and Wyatt Daniels. The family would like thank Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for all of their care and kindness. My deepest sympathy to Dennis, Sunny,Bill,Theresa Hogsett and family.
I will always have many fond memories of the times I spent with Aunt Yvonne. In my youth I spent summers, she was like a second Mother to me. Ronnie Holley

Family,
Many memories from Elementry school to High school and beyond were eating at her table with Gary. Yvonne was a gracious loving person & I will always remember her. Dennis & Billy you and your family have our best wishes and prayers.
