Funeral services for Wilbert James Kibodeaux, 77, of Beaumont will be 10:00 am Monday, July 27, 2015 at Rosedale Baptist Church in Beaumont with interment to follow at RS Farmer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 7:30 pm Sunday at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mr. Kibodeaux passed away July 19, 2015 at Baptist Hospital.
He was a native of Crowley, LA and a longtime resident of Beaumont. He worked for the Texas Department of Transportation in maintenance.
Wilbert was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert and Mary Dillian Miller Kibodeaux; and sister Mattie Mier.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years Betty Lou Bradford Kibodeaux of Beaumont; son Michael Kibodeaux of Beaumont; daughter Melisa Myers and husband Lowell of Silsbee; sister Judy Kibodeaux and brother-in-law Billy Ballard of Beaumont; brother-in-law Clifford Mier of Church Point, LA, six grandchildren Amber Smith and husband Jeff, David Myers and wife Rachelle, Rebecca Crain and husband Zac, Bethany Myers, Ashley Kibodeaux and Allison “Tina” Kibodeaux; four great grandchildren Jackson Smith, Jacob Smith, Addalyn Smith and Ella Myers.
