Funeral services for Ferbie Jean Fountain Whitmire, 67, of Evadale will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle in Evadale with interment to follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 pm until service time at the church.
Mrs. Whitmire passed away July 21, 2015 in Sulphur, La.
She was a native of Spurger and a longtime resident of Evadale. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Ferbie is preceded in death by her parents Clifton Prentice and Ola Jean Caraway Fountain.
Survivors include husband Wayne Olan Whitmire of Evadale; son Frankie Whitmire of Evadale; daughters Terri Scalisi and husband Nathan and Kaye Sherman and husband Lee all of Sulphur; brother Prentice Fountain of Az; sister Jo Ellen Phillips of Beaumont; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
