Evelyn I. Kitchen, 87, of Huntington, WV passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 following a lengthy illness at Madison Park Senior Community, Huntington, WV. She was born September 11, 1927 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Harry Earl and Kathryne Marie Young Spears. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Carl William Staley. She is survived by her husband Jackie Lee Kitchen; three children Barbara Burstein, Ronald Staley and Joyce Perdue; five grandchildren Robert, Debbie, Tammy, Kimberly and Scott; five great grandchildren Alissa, Dustin, Hayden, Jason and William; one sister Lois (Jack) Stone; and many more loving family members. She was a long time member of Apostolic Life Cathedral Church, Huntington, WV. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 at Apostolic Life Cathedral Church, Huntington, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 at the church. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements. So sorry to hear of Ebbys passing. She was a wonderful, caring and loving aunt. I have many fond memories of times together. She will be missed.
