Funeral services for Virginia Faye Gordey, 66, of Silsbee will be 4:00 pm Monday, July 27, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gordey passed away July 23, 2015 at Beaumont Baptist Hospital.
Faye was native of Silsbee and a lifelong resident of this area. She was the office manager at Kountze Manufacturing Company.
She is preceded in death by her parents Henry Jasin and Etter Runnels; husband Lawrence Earl Gordey; brothers Jimmy Runnels and Rayburn “Red” Runnels and sister Loriana Shaw.
Survivors include stepsons Lawrence Anthony Gordey of Lumberton and Jamison Alexander Gordey of Kountze; daughters Melinda Weaver and husband Eric of Silsbee and Dawn Rodriguez and husband Ron of Houston; brother Kelly Runnels of Silsbee; sisters Irene Johnson of Houston and Linda Ard Wright of Silsbee and eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
