Funeral services for Bobby Joe Gillentine, 75, of Evadale will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Central Baptist Church in Evadale with interment following at Morse Cemetery in Buna under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Monday at the church.
Mr. Gillentine passed away July 25, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Bobby was a native of Mineola and a long time resident of Evadale. He retired from Entergy as a design engineer. Bobby proudly served his country with the US Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents W. H. and Tommie Gillentine.
Survivors include his wife Mary Gillentine of Evadale; son Charles Gillentine and wife Mary of Waco; brother Earl Gillentine of Evadale; sisters Nell Lilly of Canton, Lillian Samples of Wills Point, TX, Martha Morgan of Rockwall, Anita James of Canton, and Barbara Robertson of Wills Point, TX and one grandchild Sierra Cole.
