John D Parsons Sr
A memorial service for John D Parsons Sr, 62, of Buna, will be 6:00 pm Monday at Farmer Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 5:00 pm until time of service.
Mr. Parsons passed away July 30, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Silsbee, he was a long time resident of Buna. He worked in construction and was a welder and millwright by trade.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman D. and Eva Mae Odom Parsons; brother Gary Parsons and sister Ruth Wisdom.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Irene Freeman Parsons of Buna; sons David Cole and wife Shawna of Jasper, Kenny Parsons of Florida, Matthew Choate and wife Kalina Thomas of Buna and J D Parsons Jr and wife Laura of Buna; daughters Stacy Hancock and husband Ronnie of Buna, Marie Morgan and husband Greg of Magnolia Springs, Amber Parsons of Buna, Tamara Rogers and husband Robert of Buna, Casey Jones of Mauriceville and Alex Jones and Coby Ellis of Buna; brother Larry Corley of Hemphill; sister Debbie Atkins of Evadale; twenty seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
