1935 - 2015
 Kenneth Harlen Thacker, 80, of Chesapeake, Ohio went to be with the Lord and his wife of 49 years on Friday, July 31, 2015 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. Kenneth was born May 19, 1935 in Wayne County, WV. In addition to his wife Eleanor Thacker he was preceded in death by his granddaughter Mandy Hughes Riffle. He attended Freedom Worship Center and New Beginning Worship Center. He was a retired forklift driver at A.C.F. He is survived by three daughters Lydia (Eddie) Bishop of Proctorville, Ohio, Pam (Tim) Barry of Chesapeake, Ohio and Patty (Arthur) Reed of Chesapeake, Ohio; two sons Ricky (Kathy) Thacker and Kenny (Melissa) Thacker both of Chesapeake, Ohio; 13 grandchildren Brandy, Kelly, Ransom, Jamie, Beth, Diera, Kendra, Bradley, Tabatha, Lindsey, Dustin, and Airanna; two step grandchildren Noah and Teri; nine great grandchildren Winston, Harley, Hayley, Hanna, Madison, Kylee, Allie, Bretton and Kaedyn; two brothers; and four sisters. Thanks to a very special cousin Jack Thacker for always being there and a very close friend Calvin Tackett and many more extended family and friends. We would like to thank the Hospice House of Huntington for their hospitality and special care. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the passing of Kenny. I have known him since 1986, he will be TRUELY missed by all who knew him. He was a very sweet man. He never knew a stranger. I will be praying for the entire family.
