Funeral services for James Hoyt Smith Jr., 72, of Spurger will be 7: 00 pm Monday, August 10, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Burial will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Trout Creek Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 pm until time of service.
Mr. Smith passed away August 7, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Jasper, James was a long time resident of this area. He had lived in Barlow Lake Estates for 13 years. Mr. Smith proudly served his country in the US Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilma Dean Marshall and James Hoyt Smith Sr.
Survivors include sister Frances Price and husband Kenny of Hamshire and Margie Williams of Beaumont; niece Marcy Bellanger; nephews Steve Williams, Ronnie Williams and Brent Price and numerous great nieces, nephews and friends.
