David Wesley Jordan
Funeral service for David Wesley Jordan, 31, of Spurger will be 2 pm Thursday August 13, 2015 at Beech Creek Baptist Church under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Beech Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 pm until 8 pm Wednesday August 12, 2015 at the funeral home.
Mr. Jordan passed away Sunday August 9, 2015 in Spurger.
He was born in Jasper and was a resident of Spurger. He worked for Biskamp Electric as an Electrician.
David is preceded in death by his father Dale Alan Jordan; step-father Dan McClelland; and niece Jessica Mettlen.
Survivors include wife Melissa Soignet of Spurger; mother Charlotte McClelland of Hemphill; grandmother Nelda Lois Bales of Vidor; son Cauy Crane of Spurger; daughters Kaylynn Deckert and Kiley Crane all of Spurger; brothers Nathan Alan Jordan and wife Chrissy of Hemphill; Chris Robertson of Fred, Josh Callaway of Fred and Jerad Dominguez of Spurger; sister Angela Jordan Bellett of Hemphill; Nieces Erica Sheffield Pastrana, Savannah “Cat Squirrel” Bellett, Jordan Strickland, Bree Strickland; nephew Chase Bellett; and a host of friends.

Heaven is only better because David is now there sharing his many talents. It's never easy when the one we love has to go and we are left alone to face this world without them. My Mom and I remember David as a kind, respectful, caring, fun loving, guitar picking man. We know he wouldn't want any of his loved ones to just destroy their lives with pain and the emptiness that comes from loosing such a wonderful husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, friend, etc....he will be missed very much and I know from the love of his family and friends, he will be honored in a well deserved way....play that guitar and sing them some of their favorite songs David....I know you are not alone!

My prayers go out to all the Family
That you find comfort in the Lord
He is with you. I've known David a long time he was always sweet and so respectful and I remember he used to sing some heartfelt songs. He will be so missed. Last time I saw him he stopped by and said hello to me and Frank before Frank passed. David was excited to talk about his new Family we were happy for him. May God Bless you all

I have known David since we were in elementary. We were best friends in school. Its so hard to believe and I'm so sorry. Melissa, I am truly sorry for your loss. I lost my husband in January to cancer. If you need anything please feel free to look me up on Fb. I will do what I can.
