Bobbie Jack Johnson, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Saturday August 22, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. He was born August 22, 1927 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Chancey and Gladys Fulks Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maureen Johnson; one sister Evelyn Cremeens; two brothers Chancey Everette Johnson and Charles Ernest Johnson; and two nephews David Johnson and Mike Johnson. He was a local concrete business owner and attended of First Baptist Church of Proctorville. He is survived by one brother Oris (Ruth) Johnson of Proctorville; six nieces and nephews, Kim (Howie) Damron, Rhonda Lou Bame (Travis) Hignite, Donna (J.E.) Schneider, Derry (Marva) Johnson, Ramona (Larry) Lane, and Patty Johnson; and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday August 25, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jeff Black and Pastor Mike Smith. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Mercerville, Ohio. Proctorville VFW Post #6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday August 25, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
