I worked with Linda at Huntington Orthopedic Hospital for 8 years. She was so dependable, honest and outstanding at her job. She had the best work ethic, a great attitude and always an eternal smile for everyone! Linda was a very special person and I was so fortunate to have been able to work with her.

i worked with linda for 20 years and loved her dearly. i worked midnight shift and could not wait to see her smiling face every morning and hear her stories about the night before. she will forever remain in my heart so sorry for your loss..

Linda Kilgore, 71, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born November 8, 1943 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Denver and Goldie Ferris Harmon. She worked for Huntington Orthopedic Hospital, now called River Park Hospital, for 18 years and Health South for 22 years. She was also a volunteer with Huntington City Mission. She is survived by her husband Robert Parsons; one son Robert (Christy) Parsons of Chesapeake, Ohio; very special granddaughter Karrah Parsons; her puppy Baby; two siblings Barbara (Bill) Ward of Chesapeake, Ohio and Frank (Joyce) Harmon of Proctorville, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Brady Lipscomb officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the funeral home.
