Stella Ruth Powers Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1948 - 2015 Stella Ruth Powers, 67, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at home. She was born May 18, 1948 in Athalia, Ohio daughter of the late Theodore and Nellie Mae White Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Robert Powers. She is survived by two daughters Paula (Terry) Duty and Michelle (David) Barker; one son Robert Powers all of Proctorville, Ohio; seven grandchildren Tyler, Zachary, Ryan, Chase, Kimi, Austin and Travis; and one sister JoAnn (Roger) Ruggles of Chesapeake, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was a retired cook from Marshall University with 35 years of service. There will be no services. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. I am so sorry of your loss Stella was a very dear close Freind to me I worked with her very easy going to work with always helpful and always had time to listen and she was such a great for nd I will truly miss her dearly and god bless her and her FAM always amen she was one of the best ladies to work with and she showed me alot at work too
