Charles E. “Eddie” Ellis, 76, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Wednesday September 9, 2015 at home. He was born October 13, 1938 in Chesapeake, Ohio to the late Earl and Ruby Ellis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife Lori Ellis; four children Beverly (Gary) Waldron of Proctorville, Raymond (Ruth) Ellis of Chesapeake, Connie Ellis of Chesapeake, Patricia Ellis of Chesapeake; a special friend Phillip Clark; three sisters Lorretta Carpenter of Chesapeake, Earleane (Rod) Weaver of Belpre, Ohio, and Rossetta Blevins of Indianapolis, Indiana; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and special caregiver Theresa Watts. Family wishes to express a special thanks to Community Hospice and A & L Home Care. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Hall Funeral Home to assist the family with arrangements. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday September 14, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Randy Tate. Burial will follow in Black Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio.
