Danita Dehart, 60, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born April 1, 1955 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Garland and Donna Surgeon Meadows. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Mickey Midkiff. She is survived by her husband Jack Dehart; two sons Todd Dehart and Shawn (Melissa) Dehart; four grandchildren Katie Dehart, Brooke Davis, Haylee and Landon Dehart; one sister Sharon Meadows; and special friend Dreama Riley. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Dr. Kermit Taylor. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2015 at the funeral home. Danita was my aunt. "Poogie" her nickname my brother Phillip and I called her growing up. She called my brother PJ, my mom sister, and me sissy. Poogie was super fun to be around all the time. She always liked to have a good time and laugh untill she feel asleep. She had a extremely bright and loveable soul and that brightness will continue to live on through her entire family, friends and anyone who had the honor to know her.
