Carolyn Louise Poe Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1946 - 2015 A graveside service for Carolyn Louise Poe, 69 of Lumberton will be 11:00 am Saturday September 26, 2015 at R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 10:45 am Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs Poe passed away September 22, 2015 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. She was a native of Jasper and a long resident of Lumberton. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Ruby Lee Metcalf. Survivors include sons James R. Poe of Lumberton, Wayne B. Landry, and Michael Lee Sterling; daughter Cindy Kay Poe of Lumberton and one grandchild River Marie Poe.

I m so sorry for your loss. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Psalms 72:12 For he will rescue the poor one crying for help. Also the lowly one and whoever has no helper. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone for their condolences. Janice Witte and Carrie Rashall, if you would allow it, I wouldn't mind getting together sometime and talking about my mother. Shirlene L. Smith, I would absolutely love to talk to you as well if you're available.

Your mom and I were both students at Chance-Loeb and Silsbee High School. I remember that she always hated getting shots at school. May she rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss. Carolyn and I were friends in High School. She was always a sweetheart. She is in Gods arms,safe and secure now. My prayers are with you during this loss of you mother and grandmother.

To the family of Carolyn Poe. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. May God make his presence known and bring you comfort. Carolyn and I were good friends, and James and Cindy you probably don't remember, but you came and stayed at my house when your mother had Dr. or dental appointments. She was a very kind and caring person who will surely be missed. Respectfully, Shirlene
