To Richard, Kevin, Bruce, Debbie and Joyce: Cannot tell you how saddened I am at your loss (mine too). I did not know your mom had passed until I tried to email her today to ask how she was doing and the email came back. Then I found the notice of her death. To George and me she (and you) were loving Ratliff family from Texas and a blessing to know. My prayers tonight will be for her and for you. Peace to all of you and yours. Carl McDonald

LOVE; PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS TO MRS. MOORE'S FAMILY. I KNEW HER HUSBAND, DEAN, WHO REALLY LIKED POLITICS. AT THE TIME I MET HIM I WAS COUNTY TREASURER OF HARDIN COUNTY AND ALWAYS ATTENDED ALL THE FESTIVALS; BARBECUES, ETC. AND WHEN I WOULD GO TO THE FUNCTIONS IN LUMBERTON HE WAS ALWAYS THERE. ALSO MR. HOMER BROUDEUR AND HIS SWEET WIFE, LILA WERE ALWAYS THERE TOO. OH I FORGOT TO MENTION THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BANQUETS IN LUMBERTON. I AM RETIRED BUT I WILL NEVER FORGET MY DEAR FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS WHEN I WAS IN PUBLIC OFFICE SERVING ALL THE PEOPLE OF HARDIN COUNTY. I WILL NAME A FEW OF THE ONES FROM LUMBERTON. BUTCH & BARBARA CUMMINGS; BOB AND MARY ELLEN AGNEW; PETE AND DEE TREST; KENNTH AND JOYCE KIRKENDALL; BO AND ALICE ROY; DOROTHY AND MILTON OVERSTREET; KENNETH FURLOW AND HIS FAMILY; IVA CAYWOOD; J.D. AND CLYDIA BROWN; WILTON (MAYOR @ ONE TIME) AND HIS WIFE; DONNIE AND LINDA SURRAT; SUSAN AND COY; BOBBY AND RUTH ANN FRANKLIN; MAVIS LUQUETTE AND HUSBAND; AND THE SOILEU FAMILIES; AND MANY MANY MORE. GOD HAS A PLAN FOR ALL OF US AND THIS WAS HIS PLAN FOR MRS. MOORE. I KNOW SHE AND DEAN AND ALL OF THEIR LOVED ONES AND FRIENDS ARE HAVING A GOOD TIME. BLESSINGS TO ALL OF YOU.... EDDIE DOGGETT

Kevin, just wanted to say I am thinking about you and your family in this time of need. Mothers are very hard to say goodbye to, but I hope knowing she is in a better place will give you and your family some comfort.

Royetta was one of the first people I met when I moved to Texas. She was a close friend of my parents, Homer & Lila Brodeur, and Royetta gave me the biggest, warmest welcome I will never forget that. She was an amzing soul....... a loving and kind woman. The world will miss her, and her passing breaks my heart. But I know she is with Dean, and my parents and I hope planning a trip in Heaven.

So sorry for your families loss! She was a wonderful woman, full of love for her God, Jehovah, & her family. She touched so many lives with her wonderful caring personality. She will be missed by so many. But, her sleep in death won't be long now, until she can be reunited with her family again in perfect health. Love you all! Colleen Peyton
