William “Buzzy” Shepherd, 56, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at home. He was born August 28, 1959 son of the late Robert, Sr. and Emogene Elkins Shepherd. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters. He is survived by his wife Carol Allen; children Dewey Stevens, Gary Stevens, Rhonda Boggs and Karen Allen; five grandchildren; two sisters Diana (Robert) Finley, who was his best friend as well as his best sister and Judy (Wes) Shepherd; two brothers Robert Shepherd, Jr and Bruce (Kathy) Shepherd; aunt Lillian Stapleton; uncle Clifford (Betty) Shepherd; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; a special niece Kalee Finley; and a special great nephew Jacob Adkins. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Duane Smith. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
