Della Irene Maynard Elkins, of Chesapeake, Ohio went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.K. Elkins, Sr. and a son E.K. Elkins, Jr. She is survived by one son William K. Elkins, Sr; one daughter Tressa Elkins; grandson William K. Elkins, Jr.; great grandchildren William “Trey” Elkins, III, Shelby G. Elkins, Breanna, Toby and Jamie and their mother Lois. She also leaves behind a host of loving family and friends. She was a faithful member of Chesapeake Church of the Nazarene. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Chesapeake Nazarene Church for the children’s programs. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Della was a very special lady and friend. She was always one of Jimmie's biggest supporters. She'll be greatly missed by all who knew her. We know by her Christian life she's know with God.

I was so sorry to hear of Della ' s passing. She was such a sweet thoughtful person. A real example of Christ living in a person. While she was so sick she checked on me when she thought there might be flooding near my home. I was so honored to be able to assist in her care at the Cancer Center. She will truly be missed.

Tressa & Bill. I am so sorry to read of Dellas passing. I will be praying for you. Please accept my deepest sympathys. I have known her since 1971, when I worked @ Chesys. She will GREATLY missed by all who knew her. She was a very kind & sweet lady. Prayers for all of you.
