Funeral services for Woody Odell Heidleberg, Sr., 71, of Lumberton will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas with interment to follow at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2015 until service time.
Woody passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Village Creek Rehab and Nursing Center in Lumberton. Woody was a native of Beaumont, and lived in Lumberton for 40 years, and was a retired self-employed truck driver. Woody proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
Woody was preceded in death by his father Paul Heidleberg, mother Ruby Bizell Sanford, brothers Leba Joe Heidleberg, Darrell Sanford, and his sister Ruby June Lombardo.
Woody is survived by his wife of 42 years Ann Heidleberg of Lumberton, his children: Woody Odell Heidleberg, Jr and wife Vicki of Call, TX., Michael Wayne Heidleberg and wife Darla of Gilmer, TX., Leland Lesley Heidleberg and wife Katie of Iota, LA., Sharon Ruth Goldsmith and husband Cecil of Lumberton, and Mark Wayne Mikeska and wife Alberta of Fairbanks, AK., brother Paul Edwin Heidleberg of Vidor, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
