Danny Kay Slone, 67, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Friday October 23, 2015, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV, surrounded by his loving family. Danny was born April 17, 1948 to the late Delvia Slone and Harlem (Ruby) Slone. Danny was retired from the City of Huntington. Danny was a member of Community Chapel in Proctorville, where he loved being in church. Danny is survived by his wife Patty Slone of 46 years; 5 children: Angie (Kevin) Pauley of Proctorville, OH, Patty Earles of Proctorville, OH, Sarina (Scott) Hensley of Proctorville, OH, Kim Taylor of Huntington, WV, and Danny (Laura) Slone of Huntington, WV; 23 Grandchildren: Shawn Pauley, Ryan Pauley, Austin Pauley, Heather (John) Stidham, Kayla Starkey, Jessica Slone, Brandon Taylor, Sara (Chris) McComas, Samantha (Devyn) Hensley, Stephen Hensley, Shane Hensley, Whitney (Richie) Collins, Richard Taylor, Ashley Taylor, John Taylor, Morgan (Tyler) Robertson, Dustin Slone, Daniella Slone, Briana Slone, McKenzie Bowen, Skylar Bowen, McKenzie Whitley, Jacob Slone, Hannah Burcroff; 10 Great-Grandchildren: Corie Taylor, Hayden Stidham, Brylee Workman, Jaycee Collins, Jaden McComas, Bentley Stidham, Easton Wilkinson, Tres Collins, Isabella McComas, and Dylan Ellis; 3 sisters: Martha Bowen, Patty (Wayne) McKinney, Betty Burris; 5 brothers: Shannon Slone, Bill (Cindy) Slone, David Slone, Paul (Vivian) Slone, and Tom (Pearl) Slone, and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Danny was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Sue Parks, Kay Neace and one brother Johnny Slone. Danny loved all his brothers and sisters. Danny dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters . They were his life. Danny had a special family friend Connie Stidham and Leslie Stidham. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, October 26, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted 1p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Carl Black. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio.
