Ronald Eugene Ellis, 72, of Crown City, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at home. He was born October 18, 1943 in Chesapeake, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother Vivian Ellis and his father Woodrow Ellis; one daughter Melinda Ellis Montgomery; and one brother Jerry Ellis. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Bernice Ellis; three sons Ronnie (Angie) Ellis, Randy (Kim) Ellis and Johnny (Becky) Ellis; one daughter Wendy Green; six grandsons Joseph Ellis, James Green, Ronald Montgomery, Levi Ellis, Eli Ellis and Josh Counts; six granddaughters Aleshia Ellis, Christina Ellis, Brandi Ellis, Rachael Ellis, Kara Ellis and Sabrina Green; ten great grandchildren; two brothers Tom Ellis and Billy Ellis; two sisters Jean (Eddie) Horn and Sandy Kearns; and one special brother-in-law Marvin Poff. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 by Pastor Jack Finch. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the funeral home.
