David Lee PlybonDavid Lee Plybon, 77, of Chesapeake, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born February 5, 1938 in Union Township, Chesapeake, Ohio son of the late William Franklin Plybon, Erma Lee Adkins and step dad Nathan Wentz. He was also preceded in death by two half sisters Juanita Lundy Norris and Peggy Lundy Henson; and one half brother Charles Lundy. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Donna Smoot Plybon; two sons David Scott (Shanea) Plybon and Dirk Lee (Kelli) Plybon; and three wonderful grandchildren Megan Victoria, Derek Lee and Makenzie Plybon all of Chesapeake, Ohio. He graduated from Chesapeake Schools. He did his apprenticeship at Huntington Sheet Metal J.A.C., worked at Martins Sheet Metal Company, C & O/CSX Railroad for 33 ½ years and Gino’s for Kenny Grant. He was an U.S. Army Veteran. He loved working with his boys in the garages and working at the sawmill. He was also known for his fast red corvette that he built at Christmas time. He loved to help out at the Community Mission Outreach. Dave will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the ones on the second floor at St. Mary’s Medical Center and all his Doctors at HIMG and also each one that came and had many prayers with him. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Bill Flannery. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Missions Outreach c/o Don Moore 7 Township Road 1158 Proctorville, Ohio 45669. We are saddened to hear of the loss of our wonderful neighbor for 9 years. Donna, the boys and grandkids are in our thoughts and prayers here in our new home, far away. Keep him alive in your hearts!

I m so sorry for your loss. May God bless you and your family in this time of loss. Psalms 72:12 For he will rescue the poor who cry for help. Also the lowly one and whoever has no helper. Please accept my sincere condolences.
