Frederick P Cooper Frederick P. Cooper, Sr., 83, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born August 2, 1932 in Lawrence County, Ohio son of the late Buzz and Fannie Cooper. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Edna Elkins Cooper; paternal grandparents Bert and Nettie Cooper; a beloved brother Bill Cooper; and a beloved nephew Eric Jason Cooper. He is survived by two daughters Brenda (John) Jarrell and Malinda (Jeff) Moore; one son Fred P. “Brown” Cooper, Jr all of Proctorville, Ohio; four brothers Robert (Marion Rae) Cooper, Charles “Smokey” (Judy) Cooper of Proctorville, Ohio, Gary Cooper and Bernie (Anna) Cooper of Springfield, Ohio; one special sister Rachel (Ray) Adkins of Proctorville, Ohio; a special grandson Boomer Moore of Proctorville, Ohio along with seven grandchildren Jeffrey and Johnnie Jarrell, Freddie Cooper, Michelle (Jeremy) Walters, Tasha (Shane) Frasher, Jason (Crystal) Cooper, Wendy (Howie) Noel; 11 great grandchildren Brittany, Halie, Rachael, Jeffrey and Jeremiah Jarrell, Katie and Brooke Walters, Breanna, Brody and Braydon Frasher and Rylee Dempsey; a host of nieces and nephews; a host of friends including Bobbie Jarrell and his lifelong friend Jim Smith of Dayton, Ohio; sister-in-law Jean Cooper; and his loving dog Maggie May. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War with the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a retired Proctorville Village Administrator. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ben Allen and staff, Hospice of Huntington, WV and Yanet Paredes of Hospice; and to all Fruth Staff in store #8, Proctorville, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Brian Root. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
