Bertha Pauline Smith, 78, of Milton, passed away November 23, 2015. She was born May 30, 1937, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late John "Hoopie" and Bertha Jenkins, and Tennessee Holton. She was also preceded in death by her sister Erma Donahoe. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Frank F. Smith; children, Diana (Norman) Lunsford, Michael F. (Pam) Smith, and Jodi (Derek) Morgan; one sister, Deloris Day; ten grandchildren, Natosha Brandon, Megan Burdick, Brandi Field, McKyla Harshbarger, Keeli Harshbarger, David Lunsford, Jamie Lunsford, Jerad Morgan, Shelby Morgan and Sara Morgan; and four great grandchildren, Addison, Griffin, and Keegan Brandon, and Mason Burdick. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Allen Stewart. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. Pauline was one of the finest & sweetest people I ever knew. No words can be said for how sorry I am that she is gone. I was truly blessed to have known a wonderful lady. I know I will see her in Heaven & I Thank the Lord for that.
