Graveside service for Emmedee H. Cox, 87, of Kountze will be 10:00 am Monday, December 14, 2015 at R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
Mr. Cox passed away December 12, 2015 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care.
Emmedee was a native of Bogalusa, Louisiana and a longtime resident of Kountze. He served his country with the US Army and retired from the paper mill.
He is preceded in death by his parents George B. and Minnie Cox.
Survivors include wife Louise Cox of Kountze; son Mark Cox and wife Kathy of Kountze; daughter Janice Morain and husband Danny of Kountze; grandchildren Taylor Hamilton, Chris Hamilton, Nikki Martin, Holly Henry, Richard Cox and Chris Duffek and five great grandchildren.
