Funeral services for J. D. Burnett, 86, of Evadale will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 21, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Burnett passed away December 18, 2015 at his residence.
J. D. was born in Orange on December 5, 1929 to John Thomas and Texana Burnett and was a lifelong resident of Evadale. He retired from Temple Inland. J. D. paid $1.00.
He is preceeded in death by his parents; son John Burnett; four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife Jean Burnett of Evadale; son Billy Denby and wife Bonnie of Jasper; daughters Joyce Crowder and husband Mark of Kountze and Rebecca Dunagan and husband Jim of Nome; brother Bill Burnett of Evadale; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
