Rodney Garland Miller, Jr., 60, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at home. He was born June 1, 1955 in Huntington, WV son of the late Rodney Garland and Thelma Louise Edwards Miller. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the DAV, Huntington, WV. He is survived by his wife Tammy Ellis Miller; five sons Richard Miller of Georgia, David Miller of Proctorville, Ohio, Rodney Ellis of Chesapeake, Ohio and Donnie Cornell of Huntington, WV; two daughters Angel Robinson of Prestonsburg, Ky and Stacey Cornell of Proctorville, Ohio; eight grandchildren; one brother Jeff Miller of Chesapeake, Ohio; three sisters Karen Callicoat of Proctorville, Ohio, Vanessa Callicoat of Proctorville, Ohio and Juanita Gibson of Seabrook, NH; many additional grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Greg Creasy. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Proctorville V.F.W. Post 6878 will conducted military graveside rites. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
