Violet Read Warnick MorseFuneral services for Violet Read Warnick Morse will be 10:00 am Thursday December 31, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Knupple Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

Violet was born in Silsbee in 1924. She was a resident of Orange and worked for Nelson’s Pharmacy. She was formerly a member of Little Cypress Baptist Church and later became an active member of First Baptist in Vinton, where she taught Sunday School and Bible studies for many years. She loved to study the Bible and work in her garden.

She is preceded in death by her husbands Harry Warnick and Dewy Schafer; her daughter Sandy Liss; her sisters Mary E Haynes and Donna Blanton; her brothers George Read, Lawrence Read, and Wayne Read; and her parents Henry and Sallie Read.

She is survived by husband Arvel Morse of Buna; daughter Lorraine Greubel (Jack) of Red Oak; sister Mildred Graf; brother Tommie Read (Jane); grandchildren Dana Maners (Barry), Todd Stokes(Laura), Jody Stafford (Greg),Shanda Martin (Kenny), Lori Bray (Brad) and Sallie Liss; 8 great grandchildren; stepdaughters Kathy Jackson (M.L.), Arleta Luke (Brian), Sherry Farrar and Laura Craft(Lee); and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Bristol Foundation 206 North 2100 West, Set, 202 Salt Lake City, UT 84117
