Sandi was such a joy to work with. Although we were across the country from each other, I always knew that she would help and provide advice & guidance in whatever way possible. I loved her laugh & accent, and would just tell her to talk about whatever so I could her that wonderful southern drawl of hers. She will be deeply missed in the advocacy world and especially in the corrections field. My condolences to Sandi's family, friends and all those in the victim world whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed.

I didn't know Sandy extremely well, but we worked together from when I started with the Parole Board in 2011 until her medical leave and retirement. She was always very dedicated and passionate about her work, and will be missed.

My dear friend and colleague Sandi Jaynes was one of a kind! Smart, sweet, kind, thoughtful and funny as all get out! Our 'claim to fame' is that we co-trained on victims' issues at EVERY state park in WV, which was a delight. Sandi's imprint on the field of corrections-based victim services is vast and far-reaching. She is loved and missed so much. Our prayers and hugs to her family, friends and WV justice and victim assistance colleagues....

Sandi was one of the kindest, caring, and sweetest person I have ever had the privilege of knowing, God certainly did receive another angel. So sad someone with such love had to be taken so young.

Dear Family and Friends of "our Dear Sandi. Please know that Sandi touched lives across the nation...mine included. Her passion, compassion, kind heart, giving spirit, infectious laugh and friendship was often just what I needed when things were feeling a bit overwhelming in the "world of advocacy." My heart hurts tonight at our loss...but rejoices in knowing that she is free from pain and illness. The world is a better place because of our incredible sweet sweet Sandi. Hugs and love from Minnesota
