Funeral services for Gloria Sue Lakey, 80, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be 12:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
Ms Lakey passed away January 7, 2016 at Silsbee Convalescent.
She was born January 7, 1936 at Camp Eleven in Silsbee and was a lifelong resident.
Sue had worked for Baker Oil Tools as a cook.
She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin Franklin and Sally Vera Poaland Dear; husband Leo Lakey; brothers James Harold Dear and Robert Allen Dear.
Survivors include sons Timothy Lakey and Richard Wayne Lakey both of Silsbee; brothers Charles Dwayne Dear, Billy Franklin Dear both of Silsbee; sisters Janet Smith of Jasper and Patricia Faye Johnson of Oklahoma.
Ms Lakey will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
