I grew up with this Great Family in the West End of Huntington. I also worked with Isabella at Owens Glass. Don let me get on his Harley when I was a kid . That was a Great Feeling for me. So Sorry for the loss.

Mom wanted me to convey her deepest sympathies. She said that Don was a wonderful neighbor and she will miss him. She has spoken so kindly of both your parents.
I lived with Mom for a few months in 2014 and enjoyed visiting and catching up with Mr. Whisman. He had wonderful things to say about all his kids and how proud he was of all of you. I have such fond memories of both your parents. Smith Street just won't be the same. I am so sorry for your loss.

I want to send my prayers and love to all of your family over the passing od Don. I always got after him when I asked:How are you doing, Don?"and of course he said "I;m dying." I'd fuss and then he'd laugh and tell me we were all dying. And he was right. I loved both your Mom and Dad very much. No where could anyone find any better people. He told it like it was. I will miss him terribly. The last time I spoke with him I asked if I could bring him to church. He said he'd been thinking about the Lord and he might let me sometime. I WILL miss him and I pray He went to be with Isabelle. I am praying for all of you as well.

Don (and Isabelle ) were friends of the family for as long as I can remember. Isabelle worked with my Dad (Jim Freeman) at Owens Illinois for years - and they both attended church with my Mom (Betty).
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
