Jack L. Lemley, 82, of Proctorville, Ohio, was called to his Heavenly Home on Wednesday January 13, 2016. Jack was born on December 29, 1933, son of the late Charles “Bus” and Goldie “Nannie” Cremeans Lemley. Jack is survived by his wife of 55 years, Irene Wilmoth Lemley. They were blessed with three daughters which he lovingly referred to as “his girls”. Jack was proud of his service in the US Army and being a member of Proctorville VFW Post #6878. Jack was self-employed until his retirement. Survivors include his wife Irene, daughters Vanessa (Roger) Rueth of Wisconsin, Tammy Lemley (Jason Copley) of Chesapeake, and Connie (Michael) Hayes of Proctorville; grandchildren Patricia Walker and Angela Walker (Matthew Mullins) of Proctorville and Andrew and Eric Rueth of Colorado; great grandchildren Bradley and Corey Henderson and Michael and Matthew Walker; brother Joe Lemley; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Hershel “Sonny” Porter, Buddy Swindler, and many others. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brother James Lemley; and two sisters Pasty Boster and Betty Lundy. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday January 16, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Larry Lemley. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Proctorville VFW Post #6878 will conduct military graveside rites.
