Funeral services for Jack Segrest 86, of Silsbee will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Homer Cemetery in Jasper. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 am until service time.
Mr. Segrest passed away January 20, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Jack was born October 27, 1929 in Jasper and was a longtime resident of Silsbee. He was a retired boilermaker.
Mr. Segrest is preceded in death by parents Thomas Vinze and Winnie Othelia Conner Segrest; son Rickey Segrest and sister Frannie Myrl Massey.
Survivors include wife Dorothy Jean Slaughter Segrest of Silsbee; daughter Joyce Caraway of Rusk; brother Thomas V. Segrest of Nederland; sister Sadie Ruth McCloud of Vernon, TX; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
