Willard C KuhnWillard C. Kuhn, Jr., 76, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday January 21, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. He was born August 22, 1939 in Barboursville, WV to the late Willard Sr. and Anna Ruth Harless Kuhn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Kuhn; and son Martin Kuhn. He retired from Owens Illinois as a supervisor in the selecting department, where he was loved and respected by his co-workers. He attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. He was a board member and served as secretary of Huntingtonized Federal Credit Union. He is survived by his son Eric Kuhn of Proctorville; daughter-in-law Sharon Kuhn of Proctorville; three grandchildren Danielle Lewis, Nicholas Kuhn, and Nathan Kuhn; two great grandchildren Marcus Lewis and Gavin Kuhn; two sisters Barbara (Kenneth) Galloway of Woodsfield, Ohio, and Sharon Sue (Jim) Jack of Proctorville; two brothers Clovis “Dewey” (Karon) Kuhn of Fayetteville, WV, and John Kuhn of Huntington, WV; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the many health care professionals who cared for Willard so well, including Heartland of Riverview, Lawrence County EMS, Cabell County EMS, Patriot Ambulance Service, St. Mary’s Medical Center, Dr. James Goetz, Dr. David Apgar, the staff and physicians of Huntington Internal Medicine Group and The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Elder Denver Majher. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Eric and family I am sorry for your loss. Willard was a wonderful person, a very good friend, and just a wonderful human being. God has received another angel in heaven. I will miss talking to him. RIP my friend, RIP.

So sorry to hear of Willard's passing, He was a good friend during my 26 years at Owens Illinois and afterwards. Willard was my trainer when I first was hired. I keep in touch through E-Mail He was a wonderful person. I will be praying for the Family during this hard time. Tony

I am so Sorry to hear of Willards passing. I worked wiith Willard at Owens Glass for years. He was such a Great Person and a Supervisor to work with. Never met a kinder person.

Eric, Your losses have been great, numerous, and close together. I pray that God will comfort you as only He can. Also my prayers are with the rest of the family. He looks so distinguished in this picture.

"Telling the truth with the intent to deceive is still a lie" is a quote from Willard that I will never forget. Deepest sympathy to the family.
