Lydia Fae Gilchriest Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1938 - 2016 Funeral services for Lydia Fae Gilchriest, 77, of Silsbee will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday January 23, 2016 at the funeral home. Ms. Gilchriest passed away January 22, 2016 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born June 7, 1938 in Fred and was a longtime resident of Silsbee. Lydia Fae is preceded in death by her parents Lafayette Jackson and Lucy Elmer Bell McInnis; sons Dwain Mock and Dwight Mock; one brother and one sister. Survivors include sons James Gilchriest and wife Debbie of Spurger, Malone Gilchriest of Silsbee; daughters Karen Gremillion and husband Craig of Spurger, Kathy Shandy and husband Ronnie of Silsbee, Sophia West and husband Dell of Silsbee, Charlene Fountain and husband Gathan of Fred, Nora Fuller and husband Dude of Silsbee; brothers Aubrey McInnis of Fred, and Clayton McInnis of Silsbee; sister Ettie Mae Hicks of Kerrville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Lydia Fae will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
