Funeral services for Sylvia “Carol” Van Pelt, 68, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Thursday January 28, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs Van Pelt passed away January 25, 2016 at her residence.
She was born October 19, 1947 in Houston and was a longtime resident of Silsbee, where she worked for Donalson Motor Company as a bookkeeper.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents William “Bill” and Geraldine “Jerry” Liddell Maxfield.
Survivors include her husband Ronnie Earl Van Pelt of Silsbee; son Christopher “Todd” Van Pelt of Silsbee; daughter Allison Van Pelt Pascu and husband Stefan of Houston; brother Robert Maxfield of Spurger; sisters Sharon Mullins of Flynn, TX and Cathy Smith of Silsbee; grandchildren Hayden Hampshire and Victoria Pascu.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
