1946 - 2016
 Ronald Christian, 69, of Proctorville, Ohio peacefully passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born November 5, 1946 in Lynn, WV son of the late Wade and Adeline Christian. He was a graduate of Magnolia High School, Matewan, WV. In 1966, he was a graduate of the first class of St. Mary’s School of Radiology later to serve as instructor in future programs at various facilities. Ron was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force and WV National Guard with honors. He went on to receive two business degrees from Marshall University, later to co-own a successful radiology equipment and supply business from 1986 with offices in Huntington, Beckley and Fairmont, WV and Roanoke, VA receiving various national awards and accolades. In addition to his parents Ron was preceded in death by one sister Phyllis Collins. Ron is survived by one son Ron (Sissy) Christian and one daughter Jennifer (Jacob) Callsen; four grandchildren Tiffani and Austin Christian, and Lola and Lennon Callsen; three sisters Joan Young of Virginia, Cathy Dotson and Diane Collins of Matewan, WV; many nieces and nephews; as well as a very special friend and family member, Dave Wellman. A gathering of friends and family will be held 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. Ron’s family would like to show their heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff of the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV by asking memorial donations to be made to this organization that has truly comforted us and Ron over the past few weeks. I am an old friend of Rons. I was his Kodak Rep for a few years and developed a lifelong friendship with Ronnie. Although I have not seen him for several years, he has been in my thoughts always. We had great times together. I am VERY SAD hearing of his passing. He was a trusted and loyal friend and business associate. Thank to Tommy Kinder for contacting me. Also, my condolences to his entire family and a hello to Becky. May he rest in peace, he will be missed.
