Funeral services for Betty Louise Carrell Gossett, 67, of Lumberton will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 5, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs Gossett passed away February 2, 2016 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.
She was born February 8, 1948 in Kountze and was a resident of Lumberton for the past eight years.
She is preceded in death by her father James Thurman Carrell; mother Frances Benefield; husband Tom Gossett; son Michael Brian Sangwin; brothers James Earl Carrell, Charles Edward Carrell; and grandson James Allen Sangwin Jr.
Survivors include sons James Alton Sangwin Sr. of Saratoga, Welton Gene Sangwin, Jr. of Lumberton; daughter Ramanda Parker of Villiage Mills; brothers Marvin Ray Carrell of Spurger, Terry Raymond Carrell of Silsbee; sisters Linda Joyce Woodcock of Silsbee, Wanda Sue Gore of Silsbee, and Kathy Lovell Caraway of Vidor, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
