Funeral services for John R. Harris, Jr., 75, of Zavalla, formerly of Silsbee, will be 10:00 am Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm at Concord Cemetery in Zavalla. Visitation will be Wednesday February 10 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Harris died February 7, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Lufkin.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
John was preceded in death by his parents John and Thelma Harris; brother Eddie Lynn Harris; daughter Tamela Watson and daughter-in-law Donna Judalet.
Mr. Harris is survived by his wife Faye Harris; sons Thad Harris, Wayne Judalet, Douglas Judalet, and Richard Judalet and wife Laura; daughter Sandy Dubose; brother David Harris of Nederland; 14 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
