Funeral services for Paula Carleene Nesbitt, 55, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Friday, February 19, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at RS Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nesbitt passed away February 15, 2016 at Silsbee Convalescent Center.
Paula was a native of Beaumont and a longtime resident of Silsbee. She was the owner of Alpha to Omega Cleaning Services.
Mrs. Nesbitt is preceded in death by her mother Jean Wallace Van Metre.
Survivors include father H.J. Van Metre of Vidor; husband Charles Nesbitt of Silsbee; sons Russell Dwayne Eaves Jr. and wife Kayla of Silsbee, and Christopher James Nesbitt of Silsbee; daughter Kellie Freeman and husband Jeff of Vidor; brothers Dennis Van Metre of The Woodlands; and Derek Van Metre of Vidor; sisters Pamela Hawkins of Burkeville, Wendy Smith of Livingston and Wanda Felty of Norman, OK; six grandchildren Sierra Freeman, Haylei Smith, Emily Freeman, Hagin Dunn, Abigail Freeman, and Madilyn Dunn.
Mrs. Nesbitt will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, Paula's family asks that donations be made in her memory to Word of Life Church, Building Fund, 7955 Mormon Church Rd, Silsbee TX 77656.

We are so sorry for your loss Charles. Paula was such a trooper at those cold baseball games. I am so glad she was able to see the SHS Baseball team of 2013 go to State. I know she was proud of them all.
