John Wayne Fosha passed away February 26, 2016 at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Home. He was born November 23, 1944 in Evadale, Texas where he was a resident for the majority of his life. He spent the last 6 years of his life at Silsbee Oaks, where he enjoyed many good times with friends and staff. John's favorite things in life were visiting with his family and friends, spending time with animals, listening to country music, watching westerns, going on hayrides and enjoying good food.
John is preceded in death by his parents Jack Fosha and Jewrene Fosha.
Survivors include his brother B.J. Fosha and sister-in-law Peggy Fosha of Buna, niece Michelle Fosha Armstrong and her husband Joey Armstrong of Nederland, as well as an extended family of friends, all of whom will miss his big heart, gentle spirit, and sweet smile.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation begins at 9:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
